The thing with the towers and the headless mannequins was an ambitious art project this year. It was meant to be an elaborate stock market parody - they had giant puppets that were supposed to move up and down in response to changes in the market. They worked away on it all week, but I don't know if they actually got the thing to function. I never saw it working.
