Dearie me. So this is by far the latest that I’ve ever been able
to post my photo archives for the year. Sorry about that. Lots
of projects on the go, particularly my new book on photographic
lenses. (The Lens: A Practical Guide for the Creative
Photographer, which everybody with an interchangeable lens
camera should rush out and buy, because it’s really pretty
awesome! In addition to featuring Newton’s telescope and one of Kubrick’s lenses it also features a few of my Burning Man shots over the years.)
But here it is – my collection of photographs taken at Burning
Man 2012, my 14th burn ever. Thanks again to my awesome campmates
Squishelle, Vicki, Skip, Heather, Pi, Graham, Kevin, Guy-André, Jean-François, Julie, Peter, Don, Fredo, Cassandra... my mondo-generous Seattle pals Ivan and Mary, my fellow photo-hunters Gary, Vertumnus, and Scott, and all the hardworking Burning Man organizers I worked with this year - CameraGirl, Crimson, Yoms, Vav, Lee Anna, Beckie. And as always, the artists for making amazing stuff for me to photograph.
Here’s to 2013, when Jennifer will be making her long-awaited return!
(as usual, the thumbnails below will take you to the set in question, not necessarily the photo thumbnailed.)
