As always, the Man base was designed this year by long-time Black Rock City architect Rod Garrett.
Sadly, Rod died shortly before Burning Man this year, age 74. The Man base took on particular significance this year, as a memorial to the man who brought concentric order to the chaos of Black Rock City.
