Caption: Still images really don't do justice to this one at all. Essentially the installation is a vast 3-D light sculpture.
Each dot you see is an individually addressable LED module about an inch in diameter, capable of displaying thousands of different colours. A computer program flashed the modules through a hypnotic and dizzying array of patterns.
The installation is 10 feet tall, 40 feet in diameter and contains 6048 lights.
